Community Engagement Awards support the Mass General community to pursue research, training, and clinical service opportunities worldwide.
MGH Center for Global Health Finish Line Grant Proposal
The purpose of the MGH Global Health Finish Line Grant (GHFLG) is to promote the advancement of junior investigators/trainees from MGH Global Health faculty partner sites, who have a project that is near completion and requires funding to bring the project “over the finish line.” The aim of this award is to serve as a catalyst for the completion of these projects and support mentorship between MGH Global Health faculty and junior investigators/trainees.
MGH Center for Global Health Research Development Award
The CGH Research Development Award is designed to support investigators who are beginning careers in global health research. The award is not restricted to any specific area within global health, but the research must be grounded in a robust, in-country partnership and contribute to the local research agenda.
MGH Center for Global Health Medical Education and Innovation Development Award
The CGH Medical Education and Innovation Development Award is designed to support early-to mid-career healthcare practitioners who are involved in global education healthcare delivery and innovation. The award is not restricted to any specific area within global health, but the project must be grounded in a robust, local partnership that advances clinical or educational capacity building priorities of the local community and demonstrates the candidate’s commitment to global health as a component of their career. We also welcome applications from individuals who have research projects or questions focused on healthcare delivery and education, but whose careers are not primarily research-based (e.g. are not currently on a T award or K23).
Durant Fellowship in Refugee Medicine
Honors the spirit of dedication and service of the legendary Thomas S. Durant, MD, through sponsoring health care professionals to serve refugee populations and victims of humanitarian and natural disasters.
