Ingrid Bassett, MD, MPH

Dr. Ingrid Bassett is an Associate Professor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School and physician at the Massachusetts General Hospital Division of Infectious Disease.  She also serves as the Co-Director of the Medical Practice Evaluation Center (MPEC), Mongan Institute and is the MGH Director for the Harvard Center for AIDS Research, Developmental and Mentoring Core. Dr. Bassett investigates innovative solutions in expanding access to HIV testing, treatment and prevention outside of the “brick and mortar” healthcare setting and in community venues in South Africa, the epicenter of the HIV epidemic.
