What does your day-to-day job look like?

Rhina Mushagara, MSc.IS

My day-to-day job is about communication and managing relationships within collaborative activities. For example, I coordinate new and experienced visitors from MGH and other partnering institutions by providing them with guidance and support. I schedule meeting appointments between the collaborative and MGH partners. I liaise with collaborative public relations and internal relations and produce monthly reports. I manage social media platforms (Twitter and Facebook) for the collaborative. Lastly, I plan and manage program events and other social corporate activities.

What do you love about the collaboration between MRRH and CGH?

I enjoy the diverse expertise within the collaboration, it is a place where I gain new knowledge and skills. This enhances my personal competencies and contributes to my professional growth.

I love the fact that most of my job tasks involve interacting with people with different levels of skill and intelligence. I enjoy learning new things from all of them and taking on new challenges.

What are your hopes for the future of the collaboration?

I hope for more achievable and sustainable outcomes in global health equity. Our community is already reaping from the collaboration, thank you!

What do you like to do in your free time?

I like to travel and do adrenaline rush activities like ziplining and bungee/cliff jumping. I also like dancing and playing soccer and volleyball.

Where is a place you enjoy spending time?

At my farmhouse with my family: singing and dancing, of course after chasing some chickens.
