Job Title: Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning Consultant
Description:
Massachusetts General Hospital Center for Global Health seeks to engage a Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning (MEL) consultant to conduct a partnership evaluation across the key priority focus areas of work between CGH, MUST, and MRRH. The goal is to provide a detailed retrospective of the partnership activity since its founding in 2005 and to develop a Partnership framework, including key indicators for evaluating the collaboration moving forward.
The consultant will be based in Uganda and his/her team should have the following characteristics:
- In-depth knowledge of the research, medical, and nursing education landscape in Uganda
- Extensive experience in research and/or monitoring, evaluation, and learning
- Strong knowledge of data collection methods and analysis techniques
- Demonstrated experience conducting similar partnership assessments and designing MEL frameworks
- Familiarity and experience with the theory and practice of equity initiatives
- Sufficient highly trained staff, office support, and logistical infrastructure to carry out this project and ensure timely deliverables
- Excellent analytical, writing and synthesis skills
