Cosette Scott, MPH
Project Manager
Cosette is a Program Manager at Ivers Lab at the Center for Global Health. With a strong background in clinical research and public health, she brings a wealth of expertise and a passion for health systems improvement to her role at the Center.
Before joining the Center for Global Health, she worked as a Clinical Research Assistant at Boston Children’s Hospital, collaborating with the Hepatology team at the Center for Childhood Liver Disease. During her time there, she contributed to important research in pediatric liver diseases, helping to advance the understanding and treatment options for children affected by liver conditions.
In addition to her clinical research experience, Cosette completed an internship at the Massachusetts Department of Public Health with the Occupational Health Surveillance Program. Here, she worked alongside a senior epidemiologist to analyze census data, focusing on outdoor workers in Massachusetts. Their work aimed to identify and characterize the population of workers who may be particularly vulnerable to the health impacts of climate change, providing valuable insights into public health risks and the need for targeted interventions.
Cosette holds a Bachelor of Science in Marine Biology from Roger Williams University, where she developed a deep understanding of environmental health and ecosystems. She also earned a Master of Public Health (MPH) with a concentration in epidemiology from the University of Massachusetts, Lowell, solidifying her commitment to improving public health through data-driven research and policy.
