Allison Arteaga Argumedo

Allison is an immigrant rights advocate and has supported diverse migrant populations at the US/Mexico border and New York State. Prior to joining MGH, Allison was a paralegal at Kids in Need of Defense Boston, where she worked with unaccompanied minors seeking special immigrant juvenile and asylum status. There she developed resources specific to indigenous Central American youths, supported programming of nationwide language access initiatives, and managed the office’s volunteer interpreters. Allison has previously worked as a legal assistant in the Cornell Law School’s Farmworker Legal Assistance Clinic in Ithaca, NY and held an Artist Fellowship at the Laundromat Project in the Bronx, NY. Allison holds a BFA from Cornell University.
