Global Health Grand Rounds

The Center for Global Health provides a forum for a multidisciplinary community of global health practitioners to come together to share advances and best practices in global health. MGH Global Health Grand Rounds focuses on innovations in medical care, education, and scientific discovery that are seeking to improve the health of the most vulnerable in our
global community

Upon completion of this activity, participants will be able to:
• Describe the geographic distribution of health disparities in the United States
• Name several barriers to health care access faced by rural communities
• Discuss models by which academic health centers may partners with rural communities to address health disparities

Target Audience: This activity is intended for Faculty and Staff members of the Global Health Community
